HD Upconversion

Hello Guys, i am new on this Board!

I wanted to ask how do i encode an music video for example to hd??

i saw some really good results on your site!
i tried everything, form tmpgenc to canopus,from video enhance to avid! they can only bring it to hd resolution, but the quality
stays the same! Avisynth does a pretty good job and ffdshos isnt bad too!

how can i do that?

virtualdub or something like that?

i have an Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Xi 2528
Graphics : Nvidia Geforce 8600M GS with Direct X 10
2GB Ram
and an core2duo processor with 2.4 Ghz!

or do i need to buy an quad core to become this results?

A Quadcore has nothing to do with the quality of HD upconversion. For best results, you may need some dedicated hardware setup. Check this post for more info: http://www.thinkdigit.com/forum/showthread.php?t=82493
